Poorly written, info is not anything I didn't already know, and was misleading to those who wouldn't know-obviously a quick buck sort of book. I wouldnot advise getting it-you can learn more just going to a county fair and talking to breeders.
No informaton about the outside marketing
I was expecting more definite information
This book is very informative. If you are interested in buying Alpacas you should read this book. It goes over the types of Alpacas, their fleece, shearing, cleaning, all the way ti spinning and weaving. I plan to re-read and re-read this book and will keep it in my library. I and my business partner just started out and this book is a treasure to have.
This was a very quick read, but still managed to be informative for anyone considering ways to get the most profit out of your fiber.
The subtitle is "A complete guide to how and where....." It is truly misleading. This book is not complete at all. Most information in the book can be found online, and the information is even too little.
wish it was written by someone with the American experience, as the weights discussed are not used here like in the UK. However, it gives a good overview to someone consideration going into the alpaca fiber business of the numerous ways the fiber can be used.
